Having the web to display our comics is a wonderful thing. Unfortunately, some folks in the webcomics world feel that print is dead. While it is obvious that larger newspapers are folding, I feel there is still a place for comic strips in print. 

I publish a small, local magazine called Burrito Magazine. In it I place some of the work that my friends and I do. It seems to be well received – people like holding the paper in their hands. In coffee shops, folks like to have something to thumb through.

I very much enjoy the process of putting together a magazine and placing it out there for people to read. And as long as people are willing to pick it up, I’m willing to publish it.

Print is not dead. Print may not be as lucrative as it once was, but it’s still alive. Poor, but still kicking. I can relate.
