Organic Apple
I would like to eat naturally, organically, and locally. And in the region I’m in (the southwest), that may be possible. The trick is, where to start?
I read an interesting book about it titled Deep Economy: The Wealth of Communities and the Durable Future by Bill McKibben. I’d like to say I’m on the road to living that way but I feel more like a hitchhiker – waiting for someone with a car (farm) to give me a ride (education). For your information, that’s an eco-friendly car and I’m a non-psycho hitchhiker… I think.
