Flowers are very expensive, at least good flowers are.

Girls like to think that flowers are a simple and easy way for a guy to say “I love you.” However, most guys cringe when they think of the amount of money that goes into purchasing a worthy bouquet. If you don’t cringe, you are either A) wealthy enough to not care, or B) buying cheap flowers. Girls know cheap flowers when they smell ‘em – they don’t smell like money.

The funny thing is that we all know that money doesn’t grow on trees. Yet flowers do. So we take what does not naturally grow on trees and use that to purchase what does. Then we [guys] hope we haven’t unwittingly bought the species of flower that are used to specifically say, “Sorry your camel died” rather than “You are the most wonderful woman in the world!”

Then there’s the delivery, the card, metallic balloons…

Ladies, the next time you get flowers, don’t think, “Oh, how nice. He’s thinking of me.” Instead think, “Wow, this guy must really like me… after all, he spent so much money and he did remember the passing of my camel!”
