Tennis Lesson
I used to love playing tennis. But then I guess I just stopped playing. I also used to love that song to… I think it was by Blind Faith or Cream, one of those Eric Clapton groups. Don’t listen to that much either.
In fact, this is the first thing I’ve done with tennis in a long time. So… anyone for tennis?

That is how I got a first date with my wife. She was on an opposing team playing volleyball. I bet her that loser has to buy dinner. So even if I lost, I would win.

The closest I ever came to the game was when I was younger we used to call sneakers Tennis Shoes. I don’t know why but we did.

I know a lot of people who still call sneakers “ten-ee” shoes.

I played badminton a few times, does that count? A poor man’s tennis. Or poor kid’s. . .

I love badminton. It’s easier on my knees. Not so much a poor man’s tennis, but an injured man’s tennis. I also like the fact that one can play badminton with a cold beverage in hand.

I am totally uncoordinated at hitting & catching with moving ball games. I can’t even hit the stupid baseball on the Wii. Golf I can do because the ball is stationary. Glad my love life didn’t rely on me being good at tennis or I’d be an eternal bachelor…

Oooh… this is a smart way to ask on date. I gotta write this down

Hey, it takes the pressure off having to win if you’re also prepared to lose.

If only cartoonists could get girls like this to take webcomic lessons from them.

Wii tennis is fun. I only wish that controller had a hologram extending from the end to look like whatever implement it’s supposed to be.
